The Game

So what’s it all about then? Footprint sees you taking on the challenge of cleaning up planet earth before time runs out.

It won’t be easy, and you’ll have to pick from the latest technologies wisely. Whether it’s a new train network, fields of solar panels, or even humble vegetarian food – they all have their part to play in reducing earth’s pollution.

The final twist? Just like real life, no one can win without bringing everyone else with them.

Education

Gamification‘ is a real buzzword at the moment. As the old proverb goes, “involve me and I’ll understand”.

Footprint the Game can help meet several curriculum requirements including in geography and science. It has been tested in primary and secondary schools across Hampshire, and has received near universal positive feedback from both teachers and pupils.

If you’re a teacher, community group leader, or other educator interested in trying a version of the game or having a facilitated workshop or lesson, do get in touch and check out the Resources section for more information.
